Dear AAP Community:
As you are aware, the university has directed that many services be offered online for Spring quarter. These services include peer learning offered through AAP. We know that peer learning is an important support service for many of our students and we are working hard to continue to support you as much as possible.
REMOTE PEER LEARNING SESSIONS:
For Spring 2020, we are exploring different online platforms we can use to deliver our services. Zoom looks very promising. But if we adopt other platforms, you will be made aware of them by your PLFs.
PEER LEARNING SIGN-UPS:
We want to remind you that peer learning sign-ups will continue to be done through MyUCLA following the Peer Learning pass system protocol beginning Wednesday April 1, 2020 (Week 1). In addition, you will receive a notification via MyUCLA to remind you of enrollment passes. We still plan on offering the same number of courses as we did last Spring. Please make sure to sign up during the first three weeks of the quarter. In addition, your PLFs will be reaching out to you via email to provide instructions and/or necessary information before your first session(s). Peer Learning sessions will resume online on Monday April 6, 2020 (Week 2) of Spring Quarter. Although the Peer Learning Unit Administrative Team will be responding to email requests as much as possible, in-person support will not be available this quarter.).
The 2020-2021 AAP PLF Application will be available online by the end of Week 1 during Spring Quarter. Undergraduate students interested in applying for this position may visit our website for all position and application information. PLF Information Sessions will be conducted via Zoom during Weeks 2 and 3. A general message to the AAP and UCLA community will be sent out once the application is released and specific dates and times for the Information Sessions are made available.
